Norwalk, CT – July 5, 2016--Darko Vukovic, Manager, Product Management, API Platform and James Steadman, Senior Director, Network Applications at Oracle will deliver a keynote at “All About the API” on Tuesday, July 19 at 11 a.m. in Las Vegas, Nev. at Caesars Palace.  There, Vukovic and Steadman will talk about the operational and business challenges that companies are addressing as well as the implications that lead to a successful API program.

“While everyone is getting excited about the transformative nature of APIs, we know that it takes more than just a few lines of code to drive success,” said TMC’s CEO, Rich Tehrani, the conference’s executive producer. “Who better to have on-hand to discuss these challenges than Oracle, the company that’s successfully been integrating disparate software for decades? We are thrilled to welcome Darko Vukovic and James Steadman to All About the API.”

During the session entitled “It’s More than Just The API” Vokovic and Steadman will explore the factors that go into making an API program work well, ranging from understanding the users’ and different ecosystems, to addressing the importance of reliability and what can raise security concerns. Prior to working at Oracle, Darko worked at MuleSoft where he led the product and engineering to implement the Anypoint Exchange in addition to working on the MuleSoft API Platform. Before MuleSoft, he worked at Filepicker.io, which is a publicly available, monetized API and has tens of thousands of consumers using it, processing over 30 Billion requests.

Steadman is tasked with establishing and executing business and technology strategy for Oracle Communications.
